Overview
Sparring is an integral part of Martial Arts practice but it is very different from self-defense. In both situations, it is vital for you to keep your composure in order to successfully defend yourself. Physical sparring also translates into our everyday lives as we learn timing, distancing and the proper skills necessary to interact with partners in various day-to-day situations. Purposeful drills will help you to maintain your intention and attention. As in life, we are rarely hit with what we expect and through practice, we can learn to deal with these unexpected strikes with much more confidence and ease.
