All arts are a way of life. You may begin a practice and you may quit a practice, but you may never complete it. It is a journey and each day is an opportunity for growth and understanding. The achievement of specific goals is obviously admirable but we must be careful not to adopt this attitude as the “end-all-be-all” for our lives. The ability to accomplish goals comes from philosophy, discipline and life-long habits. In this lesson, you will learn to identify those philosophies and refine your approach to life and the accomplishment of your dreams.
- Do not confuse short-term goals with true practice
- The path you walk will influence all aspects of your life
- Occasional practice is not enough…actual study is required for meaningful learning
